Well Trevor, the U.S. version, where I got mine, has the Q.T. installer in the Utility folder, and has 3-levels of FLV, 0, 1, 2. So coming from the U.S. site is not the reason for yours not having them.

I eventually got my money back from Corel because they couldn't get MOV files to show in Video Studio X4. I was running Vista. After I upgraded from Windows Vista to Windows 7, I tried VideoStudio X4 again, and when I saw it was now working, I upgraded from X3 one more time to X4 Ultimate. Now I have to get Mercalli working properly. Grrrr.
