Re: how to edit video clips
Welcome to the forums,
You must have a tremendous amount of time on your hands..
If not you will need to. The only way to do this is first render your clip to a UIS (Ulead Image Sequence) file. This is just as it appears, sequential images. Depending on how long your clip is, you will have a ton of images. If your clip is PAL then you will have 25 images for every second of video clip. So 25 x 3 min (180 secs) = 4,500 images. NTSC uses 29.97 or rounding it up to 30 frames for every second, with for the same 3 min clip would yield 5,400 images. Ok..?
Now you need a photo editing program, so you can open the images, and cut/paste the lips. You will need to do this for every image. DO NOT CHANGE THE FILE NAMES FOR THESE IMAGES. The *.UIS file uses those file names to recompile it back in VS. Once you have this done, then back in VS, you use the Insert Video command, and navigate to the *.UIS file created by VS when you rendered your project. It will then use all the images as a video clip again.
