I'm having trouble figuring out how to render HD 1920 x 1080 video clips into the .mov, 1080p format required by my stock agency. I've gone into Share>Create Video File>Custom>Quicktime Movie Files>Options>General... but I am unable to find a 1920 x 1080 option. 800x600 is the highest setting with the default being 720x480. I'm using VS Pro X4 and also tried X2.
Original clip info for one camera: Type H.264, 24 bits, 1920x1080p, 16:9, 59.94fps Vari. bit rate 26,000
What am I missing?! besides additional info that you might require for a good answer.

User Defined Frame Size to 1920 x 1080westlight wrote: What am I missing?! besides additional info that you might require for a good answer.
Unfortunately H.264 is not an option using Mov types unless you have QuickTime Pro
Otherwise you could try Mpeg4 H264 option rather than Mov

Thanks Trevor
That's what I ended up uploading as a test to their site, the mp4. We'll see what happens.
Take care, David

Re: Render HD video to .mov/Quicktime format
I am a little confused here. When I go to Custom in X4, and choose mov as my output format, I have no trouble setting 1920 x 1080 as the frame size. And I don't have Quicktime Pro... On the Compression tab I choose MPEG-4 Visual as the output format. Then on the General tab I choose User Defined as the Frame Size option, rather than the Standard option which, as you have found, limits the maximum frame size to 800 x 600. Then in the User Defined boxes, I simply type in 1920 and 1080.

Hi Ken
I assumed David (Westlight) needed to use the H264 option.
I do not see this as an option when creating Mov files which would allow him to render to original properties.
However H264 is available using Mpeg4
But yes I see all the options you mentioned above.
