problems burning dvd

Post by swilson7047 »

Hi,
I'm new to pro x4 and have 2 problems trying to burn

the first is that x4 is not recognising my dvd drives and I cannot select the drive to use.

Also, if I choose to burn to an iso it gets to 99% on the detailed progress and simply stops

Can anybody please help with either issue?

Thanks!

Sometimes another burning application can take-over the drive and block-out other applications... But I haven't actually heard of that happening for awhile.

Usually, that means Video Studio is having trouble with the particular audio/video files you fed-in. What format are your files?

You can try saving your edited video in DVD-compatible MPEG-2 format, and then re-opening to author the DVD. Or, you might need to convert the files before editing. And if Video Studio has trouble converting the unedited files, there are a couple of free applications that can do it.
