Installed VS 4 Ultimate. I can see the Boris Add on under the FX section as well as a separate progem in my programs list. I can see poordad Mercalli in the uninstall list of my control panel in my computer but i see no link in VS4. Any suggestions from those of you who have it running??

I found this video quite helpful to get started on Boris - but remember you need to have all the relevant windows open on Boris (inc the Control Panel)
This seems like a very powerful and complex tool - I couldn't find any samples/worked examples in there to get started - anyone know of a source for them please (couldn't seem to find any in the Boris folder but them I'm probably looking in the wrong place

Re: Corel VS X4 Ultimate
I've had the same problem with Mercalli - I've put in a support email to Corel to see what they say. looks like one person has had it install OK looking at other posts but looks like 2 of us haven't
PS I've also got a folder in my program files called prodad and it appears on my uninstall list on Control Panel but it doesn't appear in my list of programs

Re: Corel VS X4 Ultimate
How effective have you found Prodad in the stabilization process? I could buy a pretty good tripod for the price of this upgrade. It seems to be, too much for too little!

Re: Corel VS X4 Ultimate
Indeed. I bought a Velbon floating head tripod in the US two years ago for around $75 dollars brand new. It does a wonderful job and at that price is a fraction of other 'professional' floating head tripods...

Re: Corel VS X4 Ultimate
The problem is that one does not always have a tripod to steady the video clip. I for one do not always carry one, and I certainly don't want to always carry one. I use a free stabilizer that is available with virtualdub that does a very good job, albeit it takes sometime to get to know and use it. If money were no object, I certainly would have all the tools... Al
