problems upon removal

Post by teemark »

i found PSP3 to be WAY over my head, and uninstalled it,, only now, using windows movie maker ][5.1] i find the "preview" of text in video is blank. is there some thing about PSP that would have caused this? i reinstalled PSP and it and windows movie maker worked ok, then i removed psp again and the problem has returned. the preview of text in movie in blank/black..in the windows movie maker. the text DOES go on,, , just no preview. hope someone might be able to shed a little light on this. thanks

I would start by reinstalling windows movie maker. You may even go to Start> Control Panel> Add/Remove Programs and see if there's an option to Repair rather than uninstall. If not you may try installing over your current install (sometimes that works and is also what's recommended to do when uninstalling runs into problems). There are also different versions of Windows Movie Maker, Windows Movie Maker XP and Windows Movie Maker Live. If one doesn't work the other may.

PSP is a photo editing program and not for videos, so if you even if you did not remove the program properly it will not affect your videos.
