Is there a patch for this one?

Re: PsP X3 issue with MAJ + clic (brush)
MAJ=??? What is that?
What type of brush settings are you using? You can have a 10px size, but the other settings such as density, hardness, steps, opacity will affect how the stroke is made,

Re: PsP X3 issue with MAJ + clic (brush)
I was wondering the same thing, Ron. Maybe that's the SHIFT key in another language.
Using Paint Shop Pro versions 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 12, 14, 16

Re: PsP X3 issue with MAJ + clic (brush)
Ok so he's wanting to paint in a straight line. Like I said in my previous post, it depends on what brush settings are being used. Some are meant not to completely fill the stroke, making it appear more like a paintbrush stroke.

Re: PsP X3 issue with MAJ + clic (brush)
Hi,
Yep, sorry, the MAJ key is the Shift one. Well done Linda.
The other settings are hardness 100% / Density 100% Step 32
Every settings are ok to put a full print on a clic
I tryed a round (O) brush, it is the same like a square one, but easier to see with a big square brush.
The first clic put all the pixels on screen, then shift+clic put only the 90% pixels ; full filled at left (if coming from left to right line) and not completed at right.
If you dont move but clic again, the printing is completing.
If it isn't clear enough (sorry for my English...) I can make a video and put a link.

Like what Ron said this will still depend on the setting that you have. I tried recreating the problem that you mentioned but everythings turns out OK for me.
Here the settings that I'm using.

Re: PsP X3 issue with MAJ + clic (brush)
[f you use hardness 50 you will not see the problem because the full size of brush isn't full painted by settings.
Anyway here a snapshot :

And I'm now pretty sure it is due to the STEP settings, if I put it at 1 it works.
So is it realy a bug or a feature... ??
Thanks for your help.

Re: PsP X3 issue with MAJ + clic (brush)
I don't think it's a bug, you're using a paintbrush tool. Just think of a real paintbrush, it doesn't always fill in like a marker, pencil or pen. I think when you have the settings to where it does, the paintbrush tool is acting more like a line tool.

Re: PsP X3 issue with MAJ + clic (brush)
No, I disagree.
The mode of paint brunch is normal, all settings are ok. I'm not using a special style, it is brut.
it is a "pixel" mode if I can say that
1 pixel is 1 pixel at the right color
I will re-install X2 to check with it.
X2 done quite the same. Steps data is the factor data in this issue.
I could think step was to print each X pixels, but it is not that, I don't know what step value stand for.
Using a step value under the size value give the expected effect.

Re: PsP X3 issue with MAJ + clic (brush)
As a totally obscure footnote to the opening posts in this thread, MAJ is the French contraction of "Majuscule" which means Capital as in Capital Letters -- which is of course what you get on the English keyboard when you use a letter key with Shift!
