VS X4 crashes just like VS pro on my Windows XP

Post by sgtredbull »

I used VS Pro for years dealing with all the crashes and slow working programs. I just bought VS X4 thinking (stupid me) that Corel would have fixed those problems. I get a window alert telling me to email the tech support with the dump report. WHERE DO YOU FIND THAT? Not on their wed site.
I'm about to get a refund and go with a different company. I tired some things on other post, but it all relates to Windows 7 , and I have Windows XP.
Anyone have an answer

There is an email form located on Corel's website. You must log-in to your account, click on Contact Tech Support,
corel email form-1.png
then in the next page, the link is located in the #3 paragraph.

Just remember that in fact you are in a minority with this complaint. Not many of us experience either many crashes or slow operation -- though I acknowledge that others have mentioned similar problems However, for many of us X4 in particular is quite fast and very stable. Therefore it is difficult to say it is exclusively Corel's or the program's fault when so many other users don't have these problems... Nor do we know much about your work processes, the types of video you are editing, or even anything about your computer since you failed to fill in those details. So it is next to impossible to offer any sensible suggestions. Maybe if you provided that sort of information, someone here might be able to help...

You may want to try and download the updates for VS X4. You can download it from http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satellite/ ... 6705958651.

If you still plan to return the program, then you can read this http://corel.force.com/index/articles/e ... RMA-Policy
