Paintshop Pro Questions

Post by llyr8 »

Hi Everyone,

I got some questions about PSP X3 which I am hoping some of you can help me with:

1. I tried a trial version of PSP X3 last month and while I really like it, it seems to crash on my computer fairly frequently. Does the trial version include all the patches/updates?? If the trial version doesn't include the updates, I was thinking of installing all the patches to see if would be more stable.

(BTW, I am using Windows 7 Home Premium 64 with an AMD Athlon Quad Core Processor and 6 gigs of DDR3 RAM).

2. Has anyone heard through the grapevine :) when X4 will be released? BTW... when were X2, and X3 initially released?

In X3 Go to help, about, system info that will tell you the build date..
My X3 is Dec 2010 and my X2 is 30-10-2007..
what number did you trial..you can find that in help about..
personally I don't like X3 much prefer X2..
the one big plus is in the Corel US site they have X3 for $24.99US
much cheaper than what I paid..there are extras with it..
I don't think from what I have heard that X4 is very far away..
but will it be any better..Cheers

No, I'm not sure that grapevine are you referring, only the managers knows when will X4 be released. so just keep checking our web site.

I use Windows 7 professional (64 bit) and had problems with stability with the original version of X3. Patch 3 solved all these problems although it will still lock up if I try to do too many complicated tasks at one time.
