"Supposedly" Installer Error

Post by benjaminleehz »

Hi,

I've just gotten the all new Videostudio Pro X4 and was very excited to start work with it especially having been pretty satisfied with how X3 has been great to use. I first installed it on my Acer Laptop which is a Win7 Home Edition running on 64bit. It installed perfectly fine and well. But when when i tried to install it on my Desktop, which is a Win7 Professional on 32bit, it gets stuck at the installer wizard part without any installation progress bar. The only option for me was to cancel it. Does anyone have any idea how to solve this issue? I'd like to be able to use X4 on both computers rather than just my laptop so it would be great if anyone could help in this. Thanks in advance.

Hi

And welcome to the forums

There have been some issues with installation associated with User Accounts.

Ron suggested this approach, a pity the original poster did not reply.
There are probably other posts referring to this problem, try a search of the forum
