Question about installation on product

Hi I bought PSP X3

It also came with painter essentials 4 and photo downloader

However painter essentials 4 and photo downloader did not come up on the desktop as a icon after install, there was no option to put it on desktop/start menu (tick/untick box)

I went to program files and sent a shortcut to desktop for both, no prob there

But isn't it weird that it didn't do it automatically?

ALSO

I use Windows 7 and It came with that redgiant program, the photo tool - Magic bullet photo looks or something

It says it has encountered an error and has to close after like 5-10 minutes of editing when using the right hand side bar

64-bit of Win 7.

What can fix this?
