Re: text to a circle pattern?
Select the text you want to add to the circle. Ctrl + Click on the circle to select them both. Right-click on them and select "Fit text to path."
Or you can select "Fit text to path" from the "Objects" menu.
Now that will always put the text on the top of the circle. If you want the text on the bottom of the circle then you need to convert the circle to a patch object.
Right-click on the circle only, make sure nothing else is selected, and select "Convert to path." The circle should now be a path object, right click on the circle again and in the Edit submenu you'll see "Reverse Path" select that and now when you fit the text to the path it will be on the bottom of the circle.
Here's a tutorial on it: http://www.michelespaintshop.com/psp-text-on-curve.php

Also a tutorial that I created way back.. http://abielonline.blogspot.com/2009/07 ... th-or.html
I used PSP X2 here but you can still apply the steps on PSP X3.

Re: text to a circle pattern?
I am following the instructions above, to put text on the bottom of a circle. Convert to path is OK, but in Edit sub menu, the reverse path command is visible, but greyed out (like all other commands). What could be wrong?
I use PSPP X3 by the way.

Already found it... needed to use the pen tool to see the right options.bhnl wrote:I am following the instructions above, to put text on the bottom of a circle.
