WinDvd Pro 10 won't play Blu Ray discs

I just recently installed the WinDvd program and fixed the issue with certain files being recognized as a Trojan virus and now the program says that "Playback with the current display driver is not supported. Please update to an appropriate display driver." Right now my computer has DirectX 11 and I don't really think that I can update any more than that. Recommendations?

The error message is telling you that your display drivers need updating - nothing to do with DirectX. I note from your profile that you have a Nvidia videocard so you need to go to :- http://device-driver.org/topic/nvidia-d ... Undv&src=u and see if there is a driver update available for your particular video card

I just checked the NVIDIA site and there's a new driver that was released last
08.09.2011. You can download it from http://www.nvidia.com/object/notebook-w ... river.html

I tried both items but still no go. The Driver Bot program did not work and after downloading and running the driver update the program said it could not detect anything that needed to be upgraded. So what now?

My first post!

We have exactly the same problem but ours was after having to change the od.

Updated all the drivers for the od and even tried to back date the gpu driver but still nogo. Have had to resort to using Cyberlink software and not happy about it.

Spent alot of money buying Corel and after 9 months it is unusable, not a happy bunny. Hopefully someone at Corel has a solution!!

Hi again just a wee update, one thing I hadn't done was update the software so did that via corel's website and now win dvd wont play anything darn!!

Hmmm, is it me or is there a lack of concern from Corel about their customers?

This is a Corel web board only in name. But it is not run by Corel -- we are mostly just users like you who volunteer their time to help other users with problems. Only two people associated with Corel ever visit here, and not on a full time basis. So please don't assume that responses -- or silence -- here reflect a Corel attitude...
