WinDVD BD
I have Corel WinDVD BD for about half a year and have not had any issues until recently... for some reason once i start up the program to watch a movie.. a window alert comes up saying that "WinDVD has stopped working" everytime.. OS (Windows 7 Home Premium) and program are up to date.. I have downloaded the newest update from the manufacturer's website but still have no luck...

1] If you show more than 1 Audio Driver in Device Manager and one is the AMD High Definition Audio Driver then disable it in the Device Manager.
2] I also have the ATI Radeon 4250 and WinDVD no longer plays video, just sound. What HD 4250 driver version did you have prior, and current ?
