I have a Dell Latitude D830 laptop - Intel Core Duo CPU T9500 @ 2.60 Ghz - Ram 4.00 GB - 32 bit running Windows 7 Professional
I downloaded the trial version of VS Pro X4 to compare it to Ulead Studio, like it and ordered the product from Corel, disk form. I have been trying to load from the disk and initially got a message that the program already installed on my laptop was newer than the one on the disk and it wouldn't load.
I deleted every reference to the trial version on my system, include the registry files, but the disk will not load. It causes a stamp size white box to flash on and off my screen locking up my system. I have to reboot my system every time I try to load. I also get a "setup.exe" error message.
I really need this program on this laptop as I am starting a major time and motion study in a couple of weeks. Any and all help is requested and appreciated.

Re: VS Pro X4
Welcome to the forums,
A couple of things you can try;
When you install, run the installer as an Administrator (right-click run as Administrator).
Create another account on your system. The account should be an administrative account. Then try installing it under that new account.
Disable (temporarily) UAC (User account control).
