Hi all,
I have captured some footage off a camcorder using a capture device, the footage captured is in MPEG2 format, 720x576, PAL. The footage lasts about an hour and has no titles, captions, transitions etc. I go to 'Share'->'Create Video File' and then no matter what output format I select (I've tried MPEG2, DVD, Same as project, same as first clip) at 9% of the render the process crashes with the error -
The program has encountered an unspecified error and has stopped functioning. Please contact Corel Trecchnical Support and send the dump file for analysis.
C:\Users\<name>\AppData\Local\Temp\vstudio_14.1.0.107_<date><time>.dmp
I'm running 64 bit Windows 7 (fully patched) and VS X4 is fully patched. Any ideas? Any idea how I send these dump files to Corel?!
I'm also running QuickTime 7.5.5 which I believe is the recommended video. I've attached a screenshot of my source video settings. My laptop is an i5 with 6Gb of RAM.
I'd appreciate any help you can provide! Thanks
Cannot 'export to video' without X4 crashing

Re: Cannot 'export to video' without X4 crashing
Well a bit of an update, I tried creating a new project and importing the source videos into that. I've just tried to output a DVD video and it seemed to work fine so perhaps my original project was corrupt. Anyway, fingers crossed that's all it was!
