I paid 89.00 dollars for this!

Post by takovr »

Just bought video studio 2010. I can't believe Corel would sell such garbage! When I try to edit a photo and hit quick fix, computer crashes and I have to re-start video studio. When I play a video in video studio pro the video plays but it flickers.. I have a top of the line laptop with latest cpu and memory and have had nothing but problems with this program. Corel, do me a favor and all other people that spent their hard earned money on video studio pro 2010. Don't sell a product until your company tests it first!!!

Welcome to the forums, :)

Did you buy VideoStudio Express, Digital Studio, or VideoStudio Pro X3, that has VideoStudo 2010 Express, and DVD Factory 2010 included?
This one?

Next you're preaching to the choir about any of the Digital Studio suite of programs. We all know about them. My first suggestion would be, if you purchased this from Corel, and within the last 30 days, take them up on their 30-day money back guarantee. Then get VS X4, it's much better than VS X3, it uses the familiar burn module that was present with VS X2 and older versions.

If you are wanting some help with VS 2010 then we can try to help there too. However most of us, have not, and will not use that program unless we're forced into it. ;)

Just to explain a little further, this is a user to user web board. Apart from a couple of Corel helpers who drop by here occasionally, none of us here are Corel employees. We are all simply users like you. So there is no real point in venting at us as no-one in a position of authority at Corel ever reads this forum...

And I agree totally with Ron. If you have any of the elements of Digital Studio 2010, then it is total garbage as you have already assessed. Seek a refund!

From the price that you posted, it appears that you purchased the Corel Digital Studio 2010, anyway if you want to continue and request for a refund, then you can use the Online RMA at http://www.corel.com/return/, as long as you purchased the product from the Corel US site. I can also request for someone to help you. Just send me the order number via Private message and take note of the case number that I will also send you via Private message.

Unfortunately takovr the setup of this forum does not allow new users to access the private message system (to allow you to contact Abiel) until you have had 2 posts approved - so if you could make one more (sensble) post one of us will approve it so that you can use the PM system to contact Abiel
