I purchased PI-X3 directly form Corel and received a key via email from them in 2009. I just installed PI-X3 on my new pc. I tried to activate it using key I received directly from Corel. Activation was unsuccessful. The activation code is incorrect. Does PI activate via the Internet and might that activation server be gone now that PI has been completely killed off?
Also, logging in to my account at corel.com doesn't work. I put in Login/Password and Submit and just reloads the same sign-in/create page. No errors...

Re: Activation Unsuccessful
Welcome to the forums,
IIRC, PI X3 did not use the activation process that is used now by PSP, and some other programs. These by default have a maximum of 3 activations allowed before having to contact Corel. I've had to do this a couple times for my other programs. Just telling them the circumstances for reinstalling, and they will reset it.
Next would be the activation of a trial version. When you download a TBYB (trial) version, you are able to purchase an activation key, unlocking it to a full version. However we have suggested not doing so, as there have been problems in the past with any patches seeing the unlocked trial version as a full version, thus will not allow installation.
Check your activation code carefully to make sure you have not entered a wrong character. If this does not work, then you can double-check it once you gain access to your account on Corel's website. I just checked, and it took a couple of tries for me to log-in.
If all else fails you can place a phone call to them.

Hello Shalktur,
I would suggest that you call the Corel Support, so that they can help you in activating your PIX3. You can find the numbers of Corel Customer Support at http://corel.force.com/index/articles/e ... ct-Numbers then give them the case number that I sent you via Private Message.
