Lost Titling

Have Just Purchased Corels Videostudio X4 and when I run the Programme I cannot get any of the Titling effects to come up. Have done updates, reinstalled but all to no avail, any suggestions please. (Computer uses windows XP) :?:

Welcome to the forums, :)

Titling effects, as in the animation or filters that can be applied to text? Also we know that you're PC runs WinXP, on what sort of system? Please CLICK HERE go to the Profile tab and complete as much information as you can about your system. Most of the time it plays a big part of troubleshooting problems with VS and other programs, plus it will be displayed below your name, so you will not be asked for it again..;)

Hi Ron,
Have now filled in info you require, all except the Motherboard which I couldn't find. Hope this is helpful. I have about 30GB free of my 160GB (on two Hard Discs, (C:D:)

Did you buy the download version of VS? If so, there should have been a second 'Contents' file. While I am not totally sure, I think the titles you are missing could be in that file. Did you install it?

I am also going to transfer this thread to the Video Studio forum, as it is more appropriately located there, and others might be able to offer suggestions.

You may also try updating your DirectX. A "sticky" about this is posted near the top of this forum.
