Are you with a mouse or a tablet?

a mouse....... i wish my manycam was workin.....id take a video shot and post it....but it aint......gotta do my best to explain..........

like it's weird.....if i single click nothing shows up.......but if i click and drag like the brush show up but makes an un wanted spiral from a smaller version to a bigger version.....i found a way to by-pass, juss use the Air brush instead of the regular brush tool.......but i would really like to figure out what is going on so i can go back to the way things was........

Sounds like you've changed your Brush Variance> Size somehow. Click View> Palettes> Brush Variance (if the Brush Variance palette isn't already visible). Check to make sure that Size is set to Normal (or something other than a fade).

If that doesn't help you may need to reset your workspace. Close PSP, then hold the shift key while double clicking the desktop icon for PSP. You'll lose any customizations you've made to the program like where you've put this palette or that toolbar but any patches or serious parts of the program will still be there.

OK WE ALMOST THERE......THAT SIZE WAS SET TO OSCILLATING FADE.....I SET IT TO NORMAL......... NOW WHEN I ONE TIME CLICK ON MY IMAGE THE BRUSH IS PRINTING IN 1 SIZE AND I DONT HAVE TO DRAG NOW MORE.....SO THATS GOOD!!......BUT FOR SOME REASON ITS LIKE ROTATING ON ITS ON.....LIKE IONO HOW TO EXPLAIN.......WHEN I CLICK.....IT PRINTS LIKE AT A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT ANGLE THEN FROM THE ORIGINAL ON ITS ON...........

U SAID ALSO IF I HOLD SHIFT AND DOUBLE CLICK THE ICON ON MY DESKTOP IT WOULD RESET PSP BUT I WOULD LOSS ALL MY SETTINGS?....LIKE WHAT WOULD I HAVE TO GO BACK AND RELOAD ALL MY BRUSHES INTO PSP AGAIN?.......IF SO......LETS USE THAT AS A VERY LAST RESORT

In the Brush Variance palette there is also a rotation setting. That's going to want to be set to Normal.

As for the reset of the workspace. All your brushes and plug-ins are still going to be there, but if you had moved your history palette for example to sit in a specific spot it's going to be in the default spot. If you had turned on icons for the menu items you'll need to turn that back on. If you had created a custom menu you'll need to turn that on. In short, all the furniture will be there but you may have to rearrange the room.

This is more LeviFiction's area of expertise. He helped someone out a while back http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=40177 You only had to sift through 11 pages of forum postings to find it. :!: Since it's a different topic you may just tag onto that posting if that thread doesn't explain what you need rather than continue this one, or start a new one.
