No Video and Saving as .VOB files

Post by Gard »

Hello,

This is probably an obvious question but I gotta ask it anyway! I'm unable to view my video files in any form during the DVD creation process. After I burn the DVD, I was able to watch them and they played fine (Except for one that had a compresison problem, that's why I'd like ot preview them). I'm able to take Still Frames and I can hear sound...but no video. If I drag the video onto a menu screen it will play without problem, but when it's on it's owen it's just black screen. Any help?

On another matter, can you save your files as a .VoB folder? That way I can test out my dvd before I burn it and see if the video works.

Thanks!

are your source videos divx or xvid .avi's? (these types of videos can cause problems). If not these types, what are the attributes of your source videos (right click/properties in the DWS timeline).

In the Burn step, you can select to burn to DVD Folders (or a DVD image) to your hard drive (you don't have to burn to disc).

They're compressed with the MPJEG-3 Codec. It's odd because both of them are compressed the same way.
