Welcome to the forums, :)

It appears that you are applying the video pan/zoom to a photo. What type of photo/image is this, jpeg, png, bmp? Why use the video pan/zoom when there is a pan/zoom for photos found on the Photo tab? Double-click your image in the timeline, it will open the Options panel, and you should see 2 tabs, Photo and Attribute, the Photo tab should be the one your looking at. Under Resampling Option, select the Pan and Zoom.

Please go to your User Control Panel, click on the Profile tab, and complete the information about your computer system. This can be beneficial to those that try to help you with your problems.

I completed the parameters of my computer. In my opinion it does not matter whether you use a filter on the photo or film. In previous versions VS I didn't have same problem. I know the way how you can use a filter on photo. There is no problem with it, everything works as it should. But I still can't use a filter on the video clips. It does the same thing in the video, which is the first post.

Try doing a couple of things to see if one of them may correct this. Crashing when trying to customize a filter is not something that routinely happens, and I can't recall anyone else having a similar problem.

Are you running the full purchased or trial version? If you purchased and registered it, try installing the update. VS X4 SP1 .

Try updating Direct X. We have a sticky at the top of this forum that has a link to download it. http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=36002

I agree that it should not matter which pan/zoom is used, but if one doesn't work try the other, and I did not know if you had tried the other. ;)

Hello guys

I'm having exactly the same problem. VideoStudio Pro X4 crashes every time I try to change attributes of the Pan & Zoom effect. I'm using a retail version with service pack 1. DirectX 11.

The problem occurs on my 2nd computer as well (different hardware, same win7 x64).

Best Regards
Marek

Sorry for two posts in a row, but it solved my problem :!: I guess this error was due to Polish language. English name of this filter is "Pan & Zoom". Polish translation contain Polsih letters, for example: ę, ś, ż etc. I decided to change the language to English, but program has no option to change language or I can't find it. So I deleted folder pl-PL in folder with the program. Effect? Now I have English language and the filter Pan & Zoom doesn't cause the program error!!!
