Hi all, I'm in search of an answer for a MAJOR problem I am having! When I capture pics to a file for a project, they are renamed to a time and do not stay named as my original file. It is absolutely necessary for the pics to be in numerical order for the projects I do. I see an option to sort, but it sorts by new name (time) instead of the original file name.
Can anyone help me with this? I've not been able to find an answer and I have a HUGE project that must be completed tomorrow evening.
Thanks for your help!!
Jerri

Re: Sort order of captured pics
How on earth are you capturing these images? With Video Studio (how?) or with some other program? If so, what? I would have thought your problem would be solved if you used a photo processing program to capture and then simply Insert the photos in the video timeline in the order you want them using the names you assigned in the other program... Or can you tell us how you originally named the photos and in what program...?

Re: Sort order of captured pics
Okay, as usual I was making something that is very easy into something very difficult. I've used video programs for years, but Corel is new to me. I went into "Capture" and imported from video media (my location of pics) and that is where it changes the file names.
NOW I see how easy it is to browse and drag. Thanks for the response and please excuse me for panicking.
Another related question, though. If I delete the folder on Corel that contains my photos, will I not be able to edit the video in the future? Just wondering how long it needs to take up space there.
Thanks again.
