Is there a tag editor like mp3tag, for photos or video?

Hi., I have used a program called mp3tag a little bit for music.

Does anyone know if there is a tag editor like this for photos or video? I'm not very familiar with PSP X3, I know it can batch edit photos, but I was thinking that is different.

You can actually use PSP X3 to tag your photos. You can you go to the Organizer view and you can place or add your tags on the right side of the screen.

But those tags only exist in PSP. If you're talking about actually tagging the files you'll need something else.

Yes I am talking about tagging something else, and outside of PSP.

A universal setting like id3 tagging for music files. Eg: Right click file, Properties, and click the summary tab that shows Title--Subject-Author-Album-Etc.

So none of thetag work outside of PSP? I thought it adds a small file so it is recognized elxewhere, or in other image editing programs.

I was wrong, I was mistaking other information. Ignore me, on JPEG files the tags do become available outside of the organizer. Some file types don't accept tagging because they can't handle the meta data. I believe only JPEG and uncompressed TIFF files can accept tagging.

PNG and a few others can too.

But what you can add is different for all the files, and even with movie file types.
