ProX4: language changed

Post by pierrenev »

Hi,
I was using my trial VideoStudio ProX4 in English. After buying the activation key and downloading some patches, it changed to French.
I do speak French, but I am more familiar with technical terms, in English. How can I go back to the English version?

Thanks for your answer, but it does'nt work.
I had already downloaded and installed patch SP1.
That's when my language was changed to French.
My VS ProX4 version reads: 14.1.0.107.
I tried to reinstall SP1 again, but it does'nt accept it.
And it's still in French.
I just want to go back to the English version of ProX4.
There must be a simple way to choose the language.

ProX4-Language problem resolved

Post by pierrenev »

Following my request to go back to English, with VS-ProX4, I found a solution.
I just went into the Adobe VSPro-X4 folder, on my computer ans after locating the French-FR folder, I renamed it XXXX
Then, when I reopened ProX4, everything was back to English.
Hope that helps some other with the same problem.

Must be typo there,
I just went into the Adobe VSPro-X4 folder
Why would VS files and folders be installed in an Adobe folder?

You are right. I meant Corel Video Studio ProX 4.
Sorry for this...
But I was so excited when I found this very easy (and quick) solution.
Sorry again!
