1. software didn't play Blu-Rays
2. LogicLayer-Error (Error-Code=1)
3. Protexis License Service
after contacting the Protexis and the Corel Support (Support-Form finally worked) I finally get the software to run
It began with the first installation. WinDVD didn't play Blu-Rays. I uninstalled the software and installed it again. Suddenly I got the LogicLayer-Error. I uninstalled the software again and tried to find over weeks any solution for the problem. I contacted the Protexis support. Mrs. Carol Wang gave me a link to download a patch for the Protexis License Service. I deleted every entry in the registry that has something to do with Protexis, then I installed WinDVD again, applied the patch from Protexis and WinDVD was starting ! BUT it was not possible to activate the software, because I got every time a blank popup with only an OK-button. So I contacted the Corel support and they gave me a link to download the disc of WinDVD 2010 Pro. I burned it on a CD and installed it.
NOW everything works fine ! I finally can enjoy this software and all my great movies
Here is a list of all links:
