File size difference

When I create something in Paint.... example I save as a tiff and the size is 6meg... when I save to Windows 7 professional, the size is 9meg.... a big difference.. anyone know why this is or do i have some setting wrong.. thanks for the help...

In the SaveAs dialog there is an "Options" button on the bottom. Check to see if you're using any sort of compression when saving as TIFF.

Just adding to what Levi mention. The file size differs because the image quality or compression that you are using is different. The higher the quality the larger the filesize.
