Re: Paint Shop Photo Pro Post-SP3 Fix
That is live mail, not PSP, that does that. So you want to get rid of that then get a different email client.

Re: Paint Shop Photo Pro Post-SP3 Fix
I know that PSPPro sends its photomail via WIN Live Mail. My ongoing quest, in WIN-7, is to overcome the clunky way my two photo programs (PSPPro X3 & Elements
have to transmit photo posts. The problem with Elements 8 under WIN-7 is the inability to save messages automatically as part of the process. I used to be able to post email messages in Lightroom 3 as well but that avenue seems to require some sort of work-around. <sigh>

Um...okay. I was just telling you how to get rid of the billboard in accordance with your question. PSP sends its photos to whatever email client you have setup as your default email client. Live mail, when it receives photos, will upload them to skydrive and place a link in the email. Other email clients will add them as attachments. Outlook, will embed them into the email because it can use extended mapi most other clients don't.

OK. Thanks guys. I will leave this topic and get some more experience with all the photo email software I have. I may yet arrive at something effective and efficient. Bye.

I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you. You are more likely to see a new version of PSP, though whether that fixes things remains to be seen. And if and when a new version appears, they are totally unlikely to issue any further patches for what would then be the superseded version...Still waiting for an Official patch from Corel

Why not let us 'beta test' it for you. I can't see why Corel would frown on your sharing it, it's not as if you were rewriting any of their code or changing the functionality of PSP (other than returning it to its intended behaviour by repairing the damage they caused to their own sofware with that disatrously bad patch).JStanley wrote:That's why I created my own hotfix patch for PSPPX3.Ken Berry wrote:I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you.

Re: Paint Shop Photo Pro Post-SP3 Fix
I use Windows Live Skydrive to deliver files to customers. Aside from the download procedure changing from time to time and my instructions on how to download files becomes outdated they've not added anything to the files. I upload, customer downloads, it's the same file as far as I know. I occasionally log out and download a file just to be up on the procedure to download and it appears they don't add anything. (used to be click the wanted file, then click download from popup. Then it was hover over and click download to the right. Now it's click the file and click download from the right and it's no longer a popup. Gotta love how M$ keeps you on your toes)

Re: Paint Shop Photo Pro Post-SP3 Fix
I would offer you space on my webserver, heck I have six random strangers with direct access to personal folders of their own, but I doubt it'd be what you're looking for. It's only simple web hosting, though an FTP for upload is possible, so everything would be downloaded using regular old HTTP.
I've got one friend who hosted a download for an unofficial patch to a game engine of some sort so I do know people have successfully used it post zip and exe files.
But I thought MediaFire was a decent free hosting site for just such things. Admittedly I've only downloaded from them and never hosted with them so I'm not too familiar with their setup.
