adding text to slideshow

Post by joans »

Hi,
I am adding a title to each picture of the slideshow -- I was expecting a blank area on the bottom where I could add a title, but as far as I can see, I have to put the text right on top of the picture.
Am I missing something or do I really have to add the title on top of the image? I realize I could modify each picture to add a blank spot on the bottom, but that would be time consuming.

thanks!

Not missing anything Joans. You're probably not liking much by now.. :( However I'm just pointing out the facts and shortcomings of the program. I think when Ulead (whom invented DVD MF) came out with it, the concept was people would have already edited any video, and would use the program to put those onto video DVDs. They then further expanded on it, to provide a way to do a little trimming to imported video, and also to add some photos in the form of a slideshow to their video DVDs. The main core function of the program is to burn discs, CD, DVD, and now BD, both data and video.

Thanks so much for the reply.
Can you recommend a program for slideshows?
I'd love the ability to automatically correct tv overscan, add titles below the pictures, and
the ability to trim imported mp3's would be an added bonus

If you want more control over your slideshow and add as much element as you can, I suggest that you try Videostudio Pro X4. You can download the free trial at www.corel.com/trials
