Hi there,
I'm looking to import an existing project into another, I want to do this because then I can move the files around and edit them individually rather than creating an .avi and importing that video onto the timeline. Is there such a command?
thanks,

Re: Importing project files
A project file is like a text file. It only contains links to the objects (video, photos, audio, ect.. ) being used, instructions of your edits such as using a video clip from 00:00:00:00 to 00:20:15:15, effects and filters applied. So if you import a VSP (project) into VS, it is done as a video clip. You can not edit the VSP file other than apply effects and filters, and trim it, from within your current project. Make sense? If you have clips in the imported VSP that you want to move around, you need to open that project file, not import it into another project.

Re: Importing project files
Like what RON said, you can import a VSP or Videostudio Project file into another project. But you need to make sure that the project file that you will be importing is already completed and you no longer need to change or edit anything.
