Very Poor DVD Quality

Post by 1320payne »

Can anyone help.

Have just purchased Video Studio 8 and have attempted to do my first movie.

I set it all out and then burned it to disk but the image quality is awful.

Its not my camera or computer as I can capture video in Windows Movie Maker and it is perfect, however all captured film in VideoStudio is of the same poor quality. Is there a setting I am missing that will improve this?

what format are you capturing? DV .avi, *.mpg, or other?

There is a "Sticky" post at the top that gives some guidelines -- try to read through that post and see if it improves...

Capturing DV. When I put it onto DVD it looks like a very bad internet video. Have tried loads of things but still can't work it out.

OK - same questions to both of you - what properties/disc manager settings did you set in the "Create Disc" module of UVS and what where the properties of your video when you captured it.
