Organizer plus slow disk = PAIN
Have you ever tried using the PSPPX3 "Organizer" on a folder that's on a slow external hard drive? It takes little vacations of from ten seconds to a minute, full of disk thrashing, every time you so much as scroll the thumbnails down a page. The UI totally fails all standards of responsiveness and usability.

If this is the first time that you are trying to use the Organizer to access your "slow" external drive, then there are a number of steps that you can take. First check if the external drive has a problem by doing a disk defrag and scandisk. Another thing that you can do is check if the same thing happens if you are accessing photos saved on a flash thumb drive.
If you are able to access and use the program to view the photos from a slow external hard drive before, then you can try and reset the work space of PSP X3, you may also want to download all the service pack of PSP X3 from .
