Hello,
When I select "Enable 5.1 Surround" in the Setting menu, I get the message:
"Modifying your project settings may clear the cache for video/audio preview and the undo/redo functions. Do you want to continue?"
What does it really means?, what is the risks? In case I select this option, do I have to select it at the begining of the project (before capture), or just before Share/Create Video File step? In my HD camcorder the surround 5.1 is selected.
Thanks,
Abraham

It means just what it states, the cache will be cleared, which is what makes previewing smoother, which the undo/redo works off of. Nothing terribly wrong, it will not modify your project or delete it. I get that message numerous times, every time I change the project properties, or change the ratio.
When you enable Surround Sound in the editor, you should be wanting to edit your surround audio. The Surround Sound mixer allows you to move the sound from speaker to speaker. For example you may want narration to come from the front center, while music is split over the remaining locations. The mixer allows you to set those parameters. The only way to really get know how this works, is to play around with it.

Play a round it is, for sure
Only way to get the audio "stucked" where you want is to click the audio or videofile, where you want to change which speaker the sound would come from, and then play the project and fast use your mouse to, in the exact right time (realtime when project is playing), draw the icon and hold it where you want it for the hole clip to get through. Then it sits there the next time you play it (maybe) ...
Isn't there any better way?
