How do i update preinstalled DVD Movie Factory

My DVD Movie Factory came preinstalled on my laptop and checking it appears i am running version 5.51 :x . I have tried to update to corel version 7 and it wont allow me. How do i update and modernise this wonderful software please as i have developed new interest in making home movies

I believe you are eligible for the upgrade price, which is currently $29.99 USD. But, you might also look into Video Studio, which is currently $49.99 USD. (There are rumors that Movie Factory is being phased-out, but I have no knowledge of Corel's plans.)

And before you purchase either program, please download the trial version.

You don't upgrade to any version for free - nobody does - you buy the upgrade at a reduced price same as everybody else.

As far as I know none of the Corel upgrades for any product are free - you have to buy them.
