I had PSP X2 installed on my desktop (Windows XP). Unfortunately the computer has crashed and appears to be irreparable.
I obtained my serial number from the Corel website and tried to install PSP X2 on my laptop (Windows 7). However when I entered my serial number I received the following error message:
"Please enter a valid serial number"
Is it possible to re-install PSP X2 onto a second compter without uninstalling from the original computer?
Any suggestions gratefully received.
Thanks
Paul

Re: Re-installing PSPX2
Welcome to the forums,
Yes it is. I have it and other versions installed on both my computers. The EULA (End User License Agreement) just states that you can only have the program loaded into RAM (ie; actually using) on 1 computer at a time.
The invalid serial number however suggests that you may have tried to use your serial number for a full version, on a TBYB (trial) version, that needs an activation key. If that's not the case then go back an look at your serial number again. I've had the same thing happen, and found that what I thought was a 0 (zero) was an O, or vice-versa.

Re: Re-installing PSPX2
Another possibility is the serial number that you have is a serial number for disc installer and you are using a download installer or vice versa. Also keep in mind that PSP X2 is not compatible with Windows 7.

Re: Re-installing PSPX2
Some users have issues with X2 on Windows 7 and others do not. I'm running X2 Ultimate on Windows 7 Professional with no issues.
