Re: Offline Activation
Welcome to the forums,
You should have received an Confirmation Email from Corel when you purchased it. That email should have the a 19 character activation code.
Activation of DVD MF7
If not you should see some options, one being to activate by phone. You simply call them, and they will provide you with the activation key.

Re: Offline Activation
Epoc, you need to call the Corel Support in your country and ready the order number, serial number and installation code that you can retrieve by clicking on the PHONE COREL button when you are on the activation screen.

Re: Offline Activation
Thank-you for the advice.
I did receive an email with a 19 digit number, but Corel call it a serial number not an activation code. When I enter it at the Activation screen, I get an error box and an OK button. The error says; "Activation was unsuccessful. Cannot connect to the server. Please check your Internet connection settings" If I click the OK button, it just goes back to the enter activation code window. At no time do I get an option with Corel's phone number.
Thanks,
Epoc

Re: Offline Activation
Hi and thank-you for the info.
I did receive a confirmation email which contained a 19 digit serial number. The email says serial number not activation code. When I enter this at the Activation screen I get an error box pop up and the only option is OK. The error says, "Activation was unsuccessful. Cannot connect to the server. Please check your Internet Connection settings". I then click the ok button and am returned to the enter activation code window.

Re: Offline Activation
Since there may be some problem with connecting to their server, you need to do as Abiel suggests, and that is to telephone Corel. They will provide you with the Activation key, which you enter. This is called off-line activation.

Re: Offline Activation
As suggested I rang Corel. They could not understand what was happening. In the end they sent me a link to the CD version of the software which I downloaded. Uninstalled the trial, installed the CD version and was successful in activating the program.
