I just purchased the pictureshow 3 program a few days ago . . . my excitement & joy has turned to frustration and disappointment. Actually I'm impressed with the features of the program & have created a few nice slideshows but I've NOT been able to complete a project -- as in burn to a DVD. I've read recent posts in the forum & experiencing many of the same issues. Each time I try to burn to a DVD I experience a failure. In my case the failure usually occurs during what I think is the last step, actually writing to disk. I've reducing the special effects, etc. as suggested by others and still no joy. My only sucess buring to disk has been creating a very plain VCD (vice DVD) project. I was encouraged when I saw that a service pack was available & hoped it would solve (or reduce) my problems. Anyway, after I downloaded & installed the 5in1 package I could not open pictureshow at all. A few seconds after attempting to open I get an error message & Pictureshow closes. I've deleted & reinstalled the program several times . . . it works fine (other than burn issues I mentioned) without service pack installed but absolutely nothing as soon as I install service pack. Anyone else experiencing this? I'm hoping there is something fairly simple that I'm missing here. Thanks for any advice . . .
