VS X3: overlay clip fade-in/out

Post by Roberto »

Hello,

I haven´t used VS X3 for a while... everythingw as fine. Recently I used it again, and it happended that the fade-in/fade-out buttons (in the video edit group of controls) for the overlay clips do not work. Even though I select them to enable the fading, the overlayed video starts without any fading.
Any suggestoins ?
I have no clue at all about why this happened...
Is tehre any special setting somewhere that can change the behavior of these buttons.
Just for the record, also the rotating fade in/out does not work ay more.

Thanks for any help

This is the first that I've heard of this. However it would seem to be due to a DirectX problem, which can have an affect the GUI of VS. There's a sticky at the top of this forum, that contains a link to Microsoft's web page where you can download and install the latest version of DirectX.
