I just got Video Studio and so far, so good. The problem is, I loaded a video into VS, edited it and now want to save it.
I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to save as in a extension I can use in other programs. I tried to export and any
thing else I could think of, no go:-(

Welcome to the forums...
And the answer is simple (and in the Manual if you have one or in the Help files if not): Share > Create Video File > and then choose the output format you want.

'Save' or 'Save As' only save your project file (.vsp) not any form of video - follow Kens advice above for a video output.
