I purchased WinDVD 2010 Pro on 6/25 through the Corel website as a download. The version is 10.0.5.713.118979 and DVD and 2D Blu ray playback both work. When attempting to play a 3D Blu ray, I can hear the audio, but the screen stays black. I have tried two discs, Tron Legacy and Resident Evil: Afterlife, with the same results. To eliminate the possibility of it being a hardware or connection issue, I downloaded the trial version of TotalMedia Theatre 5. Both discs play in 3D using the TotalMedia Theatre 5 software.
System:
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
Intel i5-2500K
ASUS P8P67 MB
8 GB ram
HP external Blu ray drive BU517AA#ABL
Nvidia GTX 570 w/ latest WHQL driver 275.33
Nvidia 3D Vision glasses with emitter
Acer H5360 3D DLP Projector (HDMI from GTX 570)
WinDVD Software settings from Tools>3D Playback:
Prefer to play in 3D mode (checked)
Tried both Auto detect and Enable 3D display manually
Monitor Type: Tried both Computer Monitor with Nvidia 3D Vision and 3D Ready DLP TV
Display size: 92 inches
I have also seen in other posts on this forum of a later software version number. I checked for updates through the Corel Guide and no new updates were found.
Thanks,
Kyle

Re: WinDVD 2010 Pro 3D Blu Ray Not Working
If the 3D disk had no protection it would play in 3D mode. You could use Any DVD HD to create an ISO image, although Win DVD 2010 will not playback a mounted .ISO in 3D, other programs will. Now if you were to burn the ISO to a dual layer BD it will play back fine in 3D.
Now if Corel could figure out how to play back the original protected disk we would not have to make an unprotected backup for viewing.

Re: WinDVD 2010 Pro 3D Blu Ray Not Working
I have been having the same problem on my downstairs Media PC. However, it has been happening with both non-3D playback and 3D playback. Audio will play, but the screen is black. (My upstairs Media PC has an AACS error problem and doesn't playback at all).
***UPDATE: After reading nalawod's post on the "WinDVD + NVIDIA 275.33 = not working" thread:
"My Corel Windvd 2010 has been working flawlessly for BD and BD3d playback until I recently upgraded my graphics drivers from Nvidia GeForce 270.61 whql to 275.33 whql. After the upgrade I get no video (black screen doesn't even say "disk loading" or anything). Audio is fine. I tried upgrading Windvd from service pack 5 to service pack 6 and video still is blank. As a last ditch effort to keep the newer Nvidia drivers - I upgraded to Nvidia's beta 275.50 and still no video"
"I left Windvd on sp6, downgraded Nvidia back to 270.61 and Windvd works fine once again. I've reported the issue to Corel who have subsequently closed my ticket without any resolution. I checked Nvidia forums and there are multiple Corel users reporting no video with latest Nvidia whql."***
I followed nalawod's advice and rolled back my NVIDIA display driver to 270.61 and everything is working again. Apparently, WinDVD is not yet compatible with the latest NVIDIA drivers. It is a relatively easy fix, but bad news for gamers and others requiring the latest drivers. Thankfully for me, the PC affected is a dedicated Media PC.
