I have a HD Cox DVR (model: Scientific Atlanta 8240HDC). It is connected to my LCD TV and a Toshiba DVD recorder (model: d-3410ku).
Previously I used to be able to save my DVR contents to my VHS recorder. But now, the DVD recorder just produces blank DVDs. I assume this is because it has built-in copy protection preventing saving to a DVD. Extremely annoyed!
I heard that a device can be placed between the SA DVR and the Toshiba DVD recorder that will strip off this annoying protection and allow me to save the DVR content to a DVD and therefore leave more room on the DVR. What is this device? Which model and where do I purchase it?
Thank you.

Re: Recording saved DVR to DVD burner
Welcome to the forums ... but what has this to do with Corel Video Studio?

Re: Recording saved DVR to DVD burner
That's my question, so since it appears it has no relevance to VS, I've moved it to the Video & DVD forum.
