EZcap and sound

Post by Anderson2 »

I was one of those who was tricked into purchasing the phony EasyCap. I now want to purchase the real EZcap product. Before doing so I want to find out if
a) it works in Windows 7 64 bit?
b) it works correctly recording sound -- or will I still need to connect to the laptop's microphone to record sound. I think my mike port will probably provide distorted sound.

Has anyone here used it and found it to provide quality video and sound?

Thank you.

Hi

The best site to answer those questions is the Ezcap site

But yes it is supported by W7
My Ezcap has no problems with Audio, however some may, but this may be a pc setup issue, the advice is to bypass the device.

How you record sound depends on the device you are capturing from……. You shouldn’t need to rely on the laptop mic
The devise comes bundled with ArcSoft ShowBiz 3.5, Try this program as well as Video Studio to check capture quality

Good luck
