VS 9 - change default transition speed

VS 9 - change default transition speed
I've got a lot of crossfade transitions in a project and want them to be 2 seconds. Altering the default 1 second for every one is a lengthy pain - is it possible to change the default and if so how>?

It's been a long time since I used VS9, but going from memory it should be in File > Preferences > Edit, and somewhere on that tab (down towards the bottom?) there should be a default transition duration...
