Thanks Abiel!
I am sure that many GoPro users will be relieved!
Since there have in fact been quite a few having this problem, I have converted your post to a sticky, so that it will appear up the top of the forum...

Yes. Sorry. I confess I never checked.
Abiel: the root forum (corel.force.com) also says it is under construction. However, if you think there is a KB article, is there another link, or can you post the actual article in full, please.

Re: VS X4 and GoPro HD (.mp4) videos
I've downloaded and installed the patch, but I'm still having issues with GoPro HD video (1920x1080). When I try to join (concatenate) 2 clips into one file (same format as 1st clip), the resulting file is corrupted if the combined file length is greater than 00:37:53. For example, clips that combine to 00:37:54 fail, yet the same clips combined yet cut down to 00:37:53 work. I've verified this with numerous different clip combinations, all with the same result. Please advise.

Re: VS X4 and GoPro HD (.mp4) videos
I don't know what I am using. Ugh .... I have my gopro set on r3. The audio plays fine its just the video. Does any body have the project prefences set different then default? I have the trial version and I downloaded it twice to make sure it downloaded with no problem with the firewall off.
Are there any updates I am missing? .....patches?
Thanks in advance

Re: VS X4 and GoPro HD (.mp4) videos
Has anyone else seen this issue, or am I the only one creating clips > 37 minutes? Is it already a known problem?gbaldes wrote:I've downloaded and installed the patch, but I'm still having issues with GoPro HD video (1920x1080). You don't really tell us anything about your computer system. Filling in the rest of that info would be helpful.ZBADESTZ wrote:I don't know what I am using. Ugh .... I have my gopro set on r3. VS can create lower res proxy files that make editing/playing your HD files easier. When you are ready to output those edits to the proxy files are applied to the actual HD files.
Sounds like you need to do some research on proxy files.

Re: VS X4 and GoPro HD (.mp4) videos
So i downloaded the hotfix but it only came with the “ulmp4lib.dll” file and not the “H264VDec.dll” file. Why?

Re: VS X4 and GoPro HD (.mp4) videos
I have just cross-checked and like you, I have only the one file included in the zip file. Hopefully, Abiel will be able to shed some light on this... I have contacted him to draw his attention to it.
