Errors

Post by wildcardz »

Ok,

Before everybody starts jumping my case :D I have spent most of the day today searching and reading this forum including the PROCEDURE post.

I printed it and followed step by step. When attempt to burn the disc, it still gives me the error about not reusing the convert cache. I cannot figure out what it could be trying to convert. I created the video file and I do not load anything that I know of that would need to be converted.

I simply start the program (VS9) go to share / create disc and the add video. Now I do create chapters and the chapter menu within the "Create Disc" screen.

ANY Help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Are you sure that you are manually setting the burn properties (tiny gear-shaped icon located second to the right on the lower left of the Create Disc window) to exactly match the video file properties?

That shouldn't matter,
You probably want Dolby audio anyway, but the program may be
having a hard time with the mpeg audio you recorded and can't convert
the mpeg to dolby.

Also, exit VS and delete all the files in your home/temp directory by
running the windows cleanup utility.
There is also a VS preview directory on the last tabl of preferences (F6).
Make sure that directory is cleaned out for a new project.
