Several problems with X3

When I first got the Video Studio pro x3, I could play, and edit both mov, and .avi, and mp4-files.

But then my computer crashed, and I re-installed x3. Then i could`nt play or edit mp4. And then my computer crashed again, and now, for some reason, I can't edit mov either. Format mismatched is all I get when I try to import that file. I have never had problems with that before, and could easely drag and drop files in x3. What happend? And how do I solve this?

Can we assume that you are using the latest version of Quicktime and that it works with X4?
