Corel VideoStudiox3 Freezes

Hello
I am trying to make a DVD. I have done my editing my videos and they are saved in projects. I went onto it this morning and open my project up. It tooked an hour to open it all up normally it takes about a few secs. Then it eventally came up. Then when i go to create a disk then go to DVD factory pro 2010 the software i normally use and then i go onto the menu editor and then it freezes. After that i rebooted the computer then had another go, i opened the project up again then it freezes. It does that all the time.

An hour to open a project is just well….. a long time

I would suspect something within the project is corrupt, as it has worked in the past, what have you changed or added to the project.?

Can you tell us what the project consists of? Video types etc

You mentioned “Saved in Projects” are you saying there is more than one project involved.
Are you nesting projects?

Have you recently installed any software to your PC?

The project has worked in the past. I haven't change the project, my video type is AVCHD files and pictures, the projects is saved in the My Projects in my documots. I have just installed game software.

Do you think the "game software" maybe conflicting with the video editor?
Try uninstalling to see if it improves things………..

Just found out what is wrong now, my extra hard drive is playing up now its working thanks anyway
