Videostudio 9 - possible to capture from Analog VCR ??

Post by hebsbebs »

1. Anyone knows, if it`s possible to capture from an Analog source, like VCR ?? And how ??

2. When I choose in "Share" to burn disc only, do I have to make a Disc Image Folder too or can I burn my project without it ??

1. Yes. You'll need a capture device to do so, like a video card with VIVO (Video In/Video Out) capabilities, a standalone capture device, or a DV camcorder with passthrough encoding.

2. No. You do not need to create a VIDEO_TS folder, you can burn straight to disk.

Ulead has a pretty good tutorial page explaining how to convert video.

I usually create an image file when I burn. It's more reliable and I can burn multiple copies later. But no, it's not neccesary to create the disc image file or folders when burning.
