Need the Help File for VS 11+

Post by drumz »

When I click on help or F1 it says "Cannot find help file".
Running VS 11 plus on a win 32 laptop.
Does anyone know where I can get a copy and where it should go?
Thanks

How about the User Guide/Manual, do you have that? It should show up in the Start>All Programs>Ulead VideoStudio 11. If you don't have it you can go HERE and download it.

Do you have the CD or did you purchase the ESD (download) version? The help file has the file extension of *.chm. Try doing a search under the Ulead VideoStudio 11 folder on your system for *.chm . The actual file name is vstudio.chm. It should be located C:\Program Files\Ulead Systems\Ulead VideoStudio 11.

Check your email, the one you used to register for this web board. I zipped up the help file and sent it to that email. Unzip it to the location mentioned above.

EDITED
I tried sending the file to you, however it bounced. Apparently the email address you used to register with the forums is no longer valid.

I found out that it is. I also have a gmail account, and tried sending it, and it told me that the zip file contained an executable file, which is prohibited. I guess the CHM format is considered executable. So I don't know how to get it to you. You can use the Manual/User Guide, it is basically the same, in fact most of the time better than the help files with VS.
