PhotoPaint12 won't open all GIF frames

I'm using CorelDraw Graphics Suite 12 and importing GIF files into PhotoPaint. GIF files from the web open so that all frames are available for editing in PhotoPaint. However files created from a current Video to GIF convertor program (AOAOPhoto) will import with their full file size but only the first frame is available for viewing/editing. I've asked AOAO if their resulting GIF is 87A or 89A file format (since I know Corel handles these formats) but they don't respond. (Their GIF files open fine with Windows Picture and Fax viewer and with IE. They suggest I use ImageReady but they don't seem to understand that I want to edit the GIF with brushes available in PhotoPaint.)

I have the current Corel Graphics Suite12 driver update installed.

I'm running XP with SP3.

So I know my Corel software is old but I'm happy with it.

I've looked all over the web and all the posts here for a solution but to no avail.

Corel does have a separate forum for CorelDraw. Posting your question there will probably get you a better answer..
